FLOWER Stitch or DOUBLE CROSS Stitch

Applied to panel columns, carpets and canvasses marked with double stitches.

The FLOWER stitch is made over 4 points on the canvas, as shown in figures 1 and 2.

Make an "X" and cross it, closing the stitch and restarting from the point the needle exits, see figures 3 and 4.
